Louise Floyd Pace, 88, of Hendersonville, went home to Heaven Monday, January 12, 2015. A native of Greenville, SC, she was a daughter of the late Oliver and Nora Campfield Floyd and wife of the late Grant ìBuckî Pace who died June 7, 2014. She was a graduate of Parker High School in Greenville and had worked as a telephone operator for Southern Bell. An avid painter, she was also an excellent seamstress and enjoyed cooking. She was a member of Bethel Wesleyan Church.

Mrs. Pace is survived by her daughter, Diane Pace and her husband Jerry of Saluda; her grandchildren who were the light of her life, Todd Pace and his wife Lynn of Kernersville and Bradley Pace and his wife Tracy of Hendersonville; two great-grandchildren, Madeline Pace of Chapel Hill and Morgan Pace of Hendersonville; her sister, Geraldine Whiteside of Hendersonville and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral will be held 2:00 PM Friday, January 16, in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Revs. Tim Clark and Robert Floyd will officiate. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. At other times they will be at the home of Diane and Jerry Pace. Memorial contributions may be made to Four Seasons Compassion for Life, 571 S. Allen Rd. Flat Rock, NC 28731.

Heaven has gained another angel. Mr an Mrs pace were like grandparents to me. It is great to know we will all be together again soon around the throne of God our savior. May each of you be blessed by God at this time you all are in my thoughts and prayers.
