Lucille A. Beaupre, 96, passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2009, at the Elizabeth House. She was preceded in death by her husband, Allan Leon Beaupre, in 1971.
She was born May 24, 1913, in Kenosha, WI, to Jack and Catherine Bloxdorf Kelly. She graduated from Kenosha High School in 1931 and married Allan Beaupre in 1941. She worked as a nurse, was a secretary at American Motors and a teller at Bank One. She was a long-time member of the St. Mary’s Lutheran Church in Kenosha and since moving to Hendersonville in 2005, a member of Pinecrest Presbyteran Church. Lucille enjoyed bowling, golf, square dancing and bridge and was a devoted Green Bay Packer fan.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Elder and son-in-law Chuck Elder, of Landrum, SC; her granddaughter, Kate Sable and her husband Jordan; and great-grandchildren Jonah and Isaiah of Toronto, Canada.
