In the early morning hours of Monday, January 23, 2023, Lynn Worthington Case, age 67, of Etowah, North Carolina, passed away at UNC Health Care – Pardee Hospital in Hendersonville. Born in Columbia, South Carolina on April 25, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Bryan B. Worthington and Leona Laughter Thompson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Case; and one brother, Douglas Worthington.
Lynn was known as having been a “happy-go- lucky” and a “froggy” person who enjoyed serving and helping those in need, which she took great pride in. A devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, she enjoyed reading, puzzle books, listening to music, and last but not least, Lynn had a huge heart for cats.
She is survived by five children, Audrey Paulin and her husband, Kevin, Tina Santiago, Kim Case Nichols, Lora Case and Corey Case; six grandchildren; two brothers, Michael Worthington, and David Worthington; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, February 04, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church in Saluda.
