Margaret ìGretelî Butler, 93, of Hendersonville, passed away Sunday, September 23, 2012 at Park Ridge Hospital after a lengthy illness. A native of Cranston, RI, she lived in Henderson County for the last ten years. She was the daughter of the late Ludwig and Erna Kuehn Huebbers, and was also preceded in death by a brother, Walter Huebbers. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. Her main interest was keeping a beautiful and welcoming home for her family and friends. She dearly loved animals, especially her dogs. Travel across America and Europe brought her great pleasure for many years. She was greatly loved and will be dearly missed by all.

Survivors include her husband, George C. Butler; a daughter, Gretchen Bernier and her husband Raoul of Flat Rock; Stepchildren Raymond Butler and Lita Blanchard; two nephews, Walter Huebbers, Jr., Rodney Huebbers; and a niece, Diane North.

A memorial service will be at 2:00 pm Thursday in the Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Gregory Williams will officiate.

Mrs. Butler was such a kind and precious lady. I always enjoyed talking to her. She will surely be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with each one during this difficult time.
