Margie Revis, 76, of Flat Rock, passed away, October 3, 2014 at John F. Keever Solace Center.
She was a resident of Henderson County and a daughter of the late Grady and Lucille Lister. Margie was also preceded in death by her husband Ralph Revis; sons, Jerry A. and Kenneth Frisbee; sister, Mildred Harrison; brother, Harvey Lister and nephew, Dennis Duncan.
She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene and attended the Mills River Life Enrichment Center. Margie had a great sense of humor which she maintained throughout her illness. She loved music, singing, dancing and she never met a stranger.
Survivors include her daughter, Debbie Revis and partner Christy Baker; grandchildren, Jason, Amanda, Denise and husband Randy, Tiffany and partner Randy, Jerry Jr., Melinda, Scarlett, Amber and her mom Kim Bailey; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Hunter and Gabe, Ayden, and Lacee; sisters, Sarah Ellis and Kathy Ward; brother, Bud Lister; nephews, Chris Ellis and Mark Glass, and several other nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be at held 2:00 pm Thursday, October 9, 2014 in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Rev. Harry Widener officiating and Rev. Sherman Waters. The family will receive friends 12:30 to 2:00 pm prior to the service in the chapel.
