Marjorie “Ann” Griffin Ledbetter, age 82, of Hendersonville, North Carolina, made that wonderful cross over into Heaven on the evening of Sunday, October 30, 2022 at UNC Health Care-Pardee in Hendersonville.  Born on July 12, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Edith Griffin and was a lifelong resident of Henderson County.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Kim Shuford Ledbetter; and one brother, Pete Griffin and great grandchild Logan.

Ann, a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, had a talent of playing the piano and organ, and had played for numerous quartets during her journey.  She took great pride in playing the piano, but she also enjoyed quilting and artwork, especially painting, and volunteering with Interfaith Assistance Ministry. A former member of Valley Hill Baptist Church, Ann continued to play the piano for the church up until 2020.  She was a current member of Mud Creek Baptist Church.

Left to cherish her precious memories are her loving husband of 62 years, Russell “Bo” Wayne Ledbetter; one daughter, Sherri Ledbetter Johnson and her husband, Kirby E. Johnson; one son, David Wayne Ledbetter; five grandchildren, Letha, Heather, Michelle, Kelli and Megan; twelve great grandchildren, Greyson, Regan, Peyton, Maci, Harper, Evie, Griffin, Kevin Dean, Ella, Jaxson, Jolene and AJ; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 05, 2022 at 2:30 p.m. at Mud Creek Baptist Church with Dr. Rev. Greg Mathis officiating.  Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Hendersonville.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m., prior to the service, at the church

In lieu of flowers family has requested donations be made to Kim Ledbetter Memorial Scholarship www.mcdowelltech.edu/mtccfoundation/
