Mary Byrd Marona, born on Sunday, October 09, 1932, peacefully passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2023, at her residence in Horse Shoe, North Carolina. She was surrounded by the love and warmth of her family during her final moments. Mary lived a full and meaningful life, spanning an impressive 91 years.
A celebration to honor Mary’s life will be held on Sunday, November 05, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Etowah United Methodist Church. Pastor Richard Buff will lead the service, offering words of comfort and celebrating the remarkable life of Mary Byrd Marona. The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., prior to the service, at the church.
A private entombment will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum in Hendersonville.
