The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. At other times, the family will be at the home of Norma and Chuck Sproles.

The family wishes to thank Martha Todd, the nursing staff of Hendersonville Health and Rehab; Pardee Hospital, and Four Seasons Compassion for Life for all of their kind and loving care for Doris.

Doris was such a special lady. We had her as our nurse for a number of years at Dr. Ross’ office. She always radiated the love of Jesus in her smile and her personality and was such a compassionate and caring friend. We got to know and love her and always looked forward to seeing her when we went to the office. Our love and prayers are with you all, dear family!! May God Bless Your Heart!!!

Dearest Norma and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I can only hope and pray that there is some comfort in the fact that; if there is ANYONE EVER going to be in heaven it is your Mom. She had one of the purest and sweetest hearts. Her love of people and God was a true lesson for everyone that met her. She truly was a testimony in her everyday life.

Bless you all. Please KNOW that MANY are thinking of you and praying for you.

Much love,

Leslie

God has called one of his angels home to rest. She worked so hard while here. So many folks, adults and especially children that learned the love of God because of Doris. She not only talked of God, she lived for God.
