Mary Patricia “Patty” Siebert

June 26, 1941 - July 3, 2023

06/26/1941 - 07/03/2023

Mary Patricia Siebert, lovingly known as Patty, peacefully passed away on July 3, 2023, in Hendersonville, North Carolina. She was born on June 26, 1941, in Lakeland, Florida. The age of our beloved Patty at the time of her passing was 82 years old.

Upon graduating from Florida State, Patty spent several years teaching elementary school until she met her husband Jim Siebert.  She then turned her attention to raising her young family.  While living in California Patty got involved in community theatre with her two sons Jim and Greg.  Patty continued to perform in community theatre productions in Georgia for many years.  Upon moving to Flat Rock, NC she performed in many community theatre productions across Western North Carolina including several Youth Theatre productions at the Flat Rock Playhouse.  When not acting, Patty enjoyed attending theatre and music productions across Western North Carolina.

In her leisure time, she enjoyed playing bridge. Additionally, Patty had a deep love for traveling, exploring different cultures, and expanding her horizons through the experiences each new destination offered.
Patty was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Gordon Siebert, her father, Park Trammel Swindell, her mother, Mary Barco, sister Barbara Swindell, and brother James Swindell. Although she has left this world, Patty’s spirit will live on in the memories of her sons, Gregory Siebert of Buford, Georgia, and James Siebert of Fairbanks, Alaska.

In honoring Patty’s wishes, there will be no formal services held. Instead, let us remember her for the joyful moments she shared, the lessons she imparted, and the vibrant spirit she brought to all those lucky enough to know her.
