On the evening of Monday, October 03, 2022, Mary Theresa Cannon, age 67, of Marion, North Carolina, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at CarePartners Hospice Solace Center in Asheville.  Her loving family was by her side.  Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on January 07, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Richard Kleppick and Rosemary Trichtinger.

A loving and devoted mother, grandmother and sister, Mary was a true servant of the Lord and a dedicated mother to her sons.  She faithfully served at Grace Community Church in Marion where she enjoyed working in the church food pantry and was active in the Women’s Life Group. It brought Mary joy and happiness to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and making precious memories with them.

Mary leaves behind many children and grandchildren who loved her dearly.  May her six sons, John Siak (Heather), Matthew Siak (Sarah), Joseph Siak (Rebecca), Mark Siak (Ann), Jesse Siak and Gabriel Cannon (Sammantha); and three stepchildren, Christian Cannon, Matthew Cannon (Stephanie) and Sarah Joy (Bart) be comforted.  May the grandchildren who brought her such joy, Jack, Noah, Nick, Ella, Benjamin, Luke, Zachary, Frances, Evelyn, Isaac, Henry, Clara-Rose, Samuel, Isabelle, Tenley, Blakely, Davis and Lizzie walk humbly and faithfully in the Lord as Mary did.

Mary is also survived by three siblings, Beverly (James), Thomas (Mary Ellen) and Dianne (Greg); and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Mary’s life will be held on Wednesday, October 05, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Grace Community Church in Marion with Pastor Jerry Lewis officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., prior to the service, at the church.

A private graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 06, 2022 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Hendersonville, North Carolina.

Matt, Sarah and family ~ My heart goes to you all at this time of Mary’s Homegoing. We grieve the physical loss of our Mother’s but we rejoice in knowing that their physical pain has ended and that they are rejoicing in Heaven in the presence of our Lord and that we have the promise of seeing them again when “we all get to Heaven”, never to be separated again. I send my thoughts, prayers and deepest sympathy to each of you. My Love, in His Name, Alton
