Beth, Andrew and Chris,
I was saddened to read of Matthew’s passing. What a wonderful young man I knew from Upward Elementary. My prayers are with you during this very difficult time. Sending you all much love.

We are praying for you all during this time.
Chris, Beth and Drew – May the peace of all understanding comfort you. We all loved Matt and will always hold him in our hearts. His famous quotes will always remain part of our family “The dessert tube is always empty”, when asking if anyone wants dessert and “you lose, and I win”, when playing cards. We are ALWAYS here for you and love you beyond words.
My heart aches for you all as I can only imagine the emptiness you must be feeling. As a mother, I believe, this is the most painful experience any parent can possibly bear. You all are in my thoughts and prayers each day. I hope you will find peace in knowing Matt touched so many lives during his short life especially those who watched him grow to become a young man.
To the parents of Matthew,
My thoughts and prayers are with you. As a bereaved mother myself, this is a griwf journey anyone of us ever expected to take. Just wanted to let you know that we have a support group for bereaved parents called The Compassionate Friends. If you need to call and talk, please feel free to do so at 828-890-8227. May the memories you have of Matthew bring you comfort today and everyday. Hugs and Prayers – Marisol~forver Jose’s mom
