Melanie Ann Shehan, 66, of Hendersonville, died April 21, 2023 at the Elizabeth House.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in the cemetery.

I miss you my chosen sister. You were a big part of my life for the past 35 years and was always there for me. Thank you for being my friend. I pray for peace and comfort for Earl and all the family, I am thankful that you had them in your life.

Melanie and I were friends for 50 beautiful years. We first met in 1973 at Family Dollar. Loved you then and LOVE you today. I will really miss our talks and secrets from years past. I Love your Earl. He’s a good friend too. I will check on him for you to make sure he’s ok. Hug Michael for me. Tell him his Aunt Cathi loves and misses him too.
