Mildred L. Brooks, 85, of Hendersonville, died peacefully with family members by her side on Monday, January 18, 2010, at Hendersonville Health & Rehab. after a long period of declining health.
A native of Craig, Co., she was the daughter of the late Hilliard E. and Viola Marie Forbes.
She lived in Berna Knoll Court and enjoyed the beauty of Western NC since 1999.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, William D. Cummings and Jack Brooks; an infant brother, Hilliard; two brothers, Leonard and Stanley Forbes; and a son, Jack L. Brooks.
Surviving are daughters, Sharon Vance (Steven) of Hendersonville and Vickie D. Brooks of Maryville, TN; grandchildren, Aric H. Vance (Heather) of Asheville, Mason C. Brooks of Claton and Shannon Vance-Huskey (Seth) of Hendersonville; and great-grandchildren, Faolan Brooks of Clayton and Simon Huskey of Hendersonville.
There will be no service held locally. She will be laid to rest with other members of her family in CO.
The family would like to thank the staff of Hendersonville Health and Rehab. and Four Seasons Hospice for their care and compassion.

I missed two remit and limit the five mission injury from Life Care Center in Hendsonville and Asheville. I missed two personel – Vickie and Sherry. I misfited of mission.
