Nathan Junior Pace, 87, of Hendersonville a loving and devoted husband, father, and “Papa” went to his heavenly home on Saturday, June 18, 2022. He was a son of the late Rubin Monroe and Ada Metcalf Pace and brother of the late Virgil Pace.
Nathan served in the United States Air Force and retired from General Electric after 35
years. He was a member of Tuxedo First Baptist Church and enjoyed being outside and working
in his garden. His stories and laughter always brought happiness to his family and friends.
He is survived by his daughter, Molly Pace, and her partner Stacey; son, Casey Pace;
grandchildren, Alex Case, and Jackson and Presley Pace; sisters, Arvalee Kimzey and Zinnia
Cox; brother, Ralph Pace, and wife Hazel; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 pm, Thursday, June 23, 2022, at Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel and at other times at the home of Molly Pace.
A graveside service will be held at 12:00 pm, Friday, June 24, 2022, at Mountain Page
Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Mike Bennett officiating.
To the family, I am deeply saddened by the grief you are feeling.
Knowing of God’s love for you, continue to look to him when “he will wipe out all tears from our eyes, death, pain, and suffering will be no more. ” – Revelation 21:3,4
He says death is an ” enemy that will be brought to nothing ” – 1 Corinthians 15:26
How comforting to know that this will be a thing of the past and through Christ Jesus a resurrection for our loved ones.
