He was of the Baptist faith and retired from Ecusta in 1988 as the staff senior accountant following 42 years of service. He enjoyed reading, gardening and especially loved painting landscape art. He could often be found tracking his investments and balancing his checkbook to the penny.

I enjoyed working with Gaynard many years ago at Ecusta. He was a true gentleman, with a strong work ethic and a dry sense of humor. I learned a lot from him. Sending my condolences to his family.
My sympathy to the family. I have fond memories of Gaynard from the Ecusta years. He was a fine man.
