I enjoyed hearing Walter on Fridays in Saluda. He will be missed.
To Sharon and Family…We were saddened to learn of Walter’s passing. Greg of course remembers him from his years at Saluda and I knew him too from the time I spent volunteering and working in the cafeteria. He was always so pleasant, with a laugh, smile or joke to tell. He will be greatly missed and we pray for God’s grace to comfort his family and friends, during the days ahead.
I am so sorry for your loss guys. Walter was a wonderful person and all who knew him loved him. We love you guys and you are in our prayers. If you need anything please let us know!!

Dear Sharon and family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you during your time of sorrow. Walter was such an inspiration to many, and we will always carry his memory and his teachings with us. We know he is singing with the angels and walking those streets of gold he so often talked about, and we hope that helps to carry you through the sad times you face. We are so sorry we were unable to attend the services due to living so far away now, but we were there in thought and prayer.
