Pearl “Louise” Franks Justice, age 83, of Flat Rock, North Carolina, while surrounded by her loving family, passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at Pardee UNC Health Care in Hendersonville.  Born in Jefferson, Georgia on May 25, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Joseph P. Bowen and Rachel Chastain Dill.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Thomas “Gene” Franks, who passed away March 15th, 2016; one daughter, Renee Lamb; and seven siblings.

A dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister, Louise was the former owner/operator of Creative Fashion in Hendersonville.  She enjoyed tending to her potted plants, but most of all, spending time with her family meant the world to her.  Louise was a member of Hendersonville First Church of The Nazarene.

She is survived by her husband of 5 ½ years, Lester Justice; three sons, Tim Franks and wife, Angie, Chris Franks and wife, Joell, and Kerry Franks; one daughter, Denya Franks (twin sister to Renee); and numerous stepchildren, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.  Louise is also survived by her sister, Castellow Hill; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Hendersonville First Church of The Nazarene with Pastor Scott Crandle and Pastor Joe Queen officiating.  Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., one hour prior to the service, at the church.

Those wishing to make a memorial donation in Mrs. Justice’s memory are asked to consider, Hendersonville First Church of The Nazarene, 111 North Washington Street, Hendersonville, North Carolina 28739.

We are very thankful that Lester came into our mothers life. He gave her a quality of life that she wouldn’t have had otherwise. Our dad passed away as they were closing in on 60 years of marriage. I will miss them both immensely.
