Rebecca Ann Murray Travers, 66, of Hendersonville passed away on November 20, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Elmer and Leona Murray.
Rebecca was the loving wife of Erwin Travers, and they shared 35 beautiful years together. She had a kind and considerate soul. In true southern tradition, she was an amazing cook and doted on her family whenever she had the chance. She adored her nieces and nephews and more recently, her grand-nieces and grand-nephew, and they loved their Aunt Rebecca fiercely. Rebecca was a faithful member of Victory Tabernacle in East Flat Rock.
In addition to her beloved husband Erwin, Rebecca is survived by her sister, Mary Lynn Murray Morris; her brother and sister-in-law Jackie and Shirley Murray; her niece and nephew and their spouses, Cain and Holly Murray, and Bianca and Patrick Briggs; and her grand-nephew and grand-nieces, Wesley Murray, Isabella Murray, Kenadie Briggs, and Meadow Briggs.
A funeral service will be held at the Chapel at Forest Lawn Funeral Home on Monday, November 29th at 2:00pm. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 – 1:45pm, and a committal will follow the service at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
