Scott Allen Freshwater, 50, of Hendersonville, died suddenly on Sunday, January 1, 2012.
He was a native of Ohio and a life-long Methodist. Scott held a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University and a MBA in Real Estate Finance from Southern Methodist University. He was an Eagle Scout, a member of the Elks Club; and a member of CREIA (Carolina Real Estate Investorís Association).
He is survived by his wife Valerie Foote Freshwater; a son, Wesley Scott Freshwater; a daughter, Grace Lynn Freshwater; and numerous other relatives.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at Hendersonville First United Methodist Church with Rev. Dan Martin and Rev. Debra Gaddy officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at Barber Christian Life Center of the church.
