Scott Earl Blake, 84, of Hendersonville passed away Friday, April 18, 2014 at Spring Arbor West. A native of Wetzell County, West Virginia, he lived in Ocala, FL before moving to Henderson County in 2001. He was a son of the late Clarence and Inez Blake, and the husband of the late Louise Hazel Blake who died in 2009. Scott was a member of Hendersonville Church of Christ.

Survivors include five sons, Scott Blake, Jr. of Alabama, David Blake of Tennessee, Duncan Blake of Hendersonville, Jeff and Mark Blake, both of Florida; two daughters, Linda Warber and Susan Lindsey, both of Florida; two brothers, Paul Blake of Pennsylvania, Joe Blake of West Virginia; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service will be at 10 am Friday at Hendersonville Church of Christ. Minister Ethan Brown will officiate. A private interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Scott Blake may be made to PBC, 140 Fall Creek Road, Marietta, SC 29661, or Four Seasons Compassion for Life, 571 S. Allen Road, Flat Rock, NC 28731.
