Scott Earl Garrison, age 61, made the transition from earthly life to eternal life in the church triumphant with the Lord Jesus Christ on April 27, 2023.
He was born in North Wilkesboro on December 19, 1961. His life was blessed with loving and caring family and friends. His Immediate family remaining are his brother: William Lloyd Garrison, Jr. and his wife Mary Kathleen of Chapel Hill, TN, and his sister, Carole Ann Garrison. His niece & nephews Matthew William Garrison, Laura Kathleen and her husband Brock Dugger; and William Lloyd Garrison, III and his wife Kristian Jeannin, all of Chapel Hill, TN; and great nieces and nephews Amelia Jolene, Caroline Reece, William Lloyd IV, Catherine Ryen, and Madilyn Marie all of Chapel Hill, TN.
Scott was predeceased by his beloved parents William Lloyd Garrison and Barbara Hill Garrison.
Scott graduated from East High School in 1980 and Lees McRae College in 1982. Scott was an Eagle Scout and usher at Trinity Presbyterian Church. He joined his father and eventually took over the business High Hope Dirt and Mulch.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 6th at 3:00 pm at Trinity Presbyterian Church with Rev. Mark Stanley officiating.
Mike and I are saddened to hear that Scott has passed. We are glad to see him in good spirits when we saw him 2 years ago. He was selfless in his care for Aunt Barbara and we feel comforted know he is free of pain and suffering now. We pass on our positive thoughts and hugs to the family of Scott.
