I have had the pleasure of working with Shirley for over 30 years. She has been my trainer, role model, advisor, and friend.

Although Shirley was a ‘mom’ to everyone, her children, Bev, Mike and Kathy were her world. She talked about you guys all the time, and it was the same thing when she became a grandmother. She was so proud of you all.

And to George, Shirley talked about you too. She said that when you sang to her, her heart just melted.

Shirley set high standards for telecommunicators in the field of law enforcement dispatching. She has trained numerous people over the years and her legacy in this field will live on. We will miss you “Maw”…

We’re so glad we met her and was able to go to dinner with her and George.Even with working with law Enforcement Shirley never judged people by their past.We hope the family can find comfort in her memories.

When I worked for the 911 center for a short time about 9 years ago, Shirley was my “trainer”. She was a delightful person who always had a kind and encouraging word to say. Jay & I will miss her sweet spirit. She was one of those people who made positive impact on the world around her. May the family find comfort in the many good memories you have in your heart. May the Lord reach down with His loving arms and surround you with His peace. Even though we are unable to attend the service, we are with you in spirit.
