Stephen Michael Boxill (Steve) a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and resident of Hendersonville, North Carolina, passed away peacefully with his family on December 24, 2021. A loving husband, father, son, brother and friend. After a long battle with dementia he is now an Angel of God and free of this horrible disease.
Steve is survived by his wife of forty-years Sheila Hinds Boxill; son Bradley Michael Boxill and fiancé Stacy Richardson both of Jacksonville, North Carolina. Also survived by his parents Sue Barber Boxill and Herbert J. Boxill; sister Ann Hamilton and husband Duz; brother Brent Boxill and wife Jennifer. Steve was a Uncle to several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by grandparents Robert and LaRue Barber.
Steve retired from Baton Rouge Water Company after thirty-five years of service. Steve loved golfing, fishing and to travel. He also served four years in the US Marine Corp.
