Stephen Michael Boxill (Steve) a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and resident of Hendersonville, North Carolina, passed away peacefully with his family on December 24, 2021.  A loving husband, father, son, brother and friend. After a long battle with dementia he is now an Angel of God and free of this horrible disease.

Steve is survived by his wife of forty-years Sheila Hinds Boxill; son Bradley Michael Boxill and fiancé Stacy Richardson both of Jacksonville, North Carolina. Also survived by his parents Sue Barber Boxill and Herbert J. Boxill; sister Ann Hamilton and husband Duz; brother Brent Boxill and wife Jennifer. Steve was a Uncle to several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by grandparents Robert and LaRue Barber.

Steve retired from Baton Rouge Water Company after thirty-five years of service. Steve loved golfing, fishing and to travel. He also served four years in the US Marine Corp.

Memorial donations can be made to Frontal Temporal Dementia, Alzheimer’s Association or the Parkinson’s Foundation.

A final wishes ceremony will be held at a later date.

So sorry to hear of Steve,s passing ..prayers and condolences to each of you..Sue you are in my thoughts ..as grandmother often said after Aunt Dell passed, a parent should never have to bury a child .. may God give each of you His Comforting spirit …warm reguards ,
