Victoria Lee Case passed away Saturday, December 14, 2013, at home in Flat Rock at the age of 59.
She was the beloved daughter of Clara Carlisle Case of Flat Rock and the late Allen Wood Case.
She was born in Hendersonville and attended Hendersonville City Schools, graduating from Hendersonville High School in 1972. After completing her studies at Blue Ridge College, she moved to California and found her career path, working for Falcon Lake Properties, where she eventually headed their data processing department with the title of Vice President of Finance and Administration. She then became an entrepreneur, developing properties in California, Nevada and North Carolina.
She is survived by her mother, and three siblings, Teresa Case Sutterfield (Jim) of New Orleans, LA, Allen Wood Case, Jr. (Carol) of Cathedral City, CA, and Gregory Case of Flat Rock. She is also survived by two aunts, an uncle and several cousins, including Denise Frady Pryor, who was like a sister.
Victoria loved life, loved her family, loved flowers and wildlife, working in her gardens, and traveling the world. She was never happier than when she was conducting research and writing on matters important to life and health. Her family and friends will miss her but know they were blessed to have her.
A celebration of her life service will be held at Forest Lawn Chapel in Hendersonville at 3:00 pm on Thursday, December 19, with visitation commencing at 2 p.m. Friends and family are invited to help celebrate Victoriaís life.
