William ìBudî Bailey 87 of Hendersonville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at the Elizabeth House.
He was the son of the late Grover & Annie Bailey; and is also preceded in death by two sisters, Georgia B. Corn & Dorothy B. Middleton. Bud was a served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict; and was a member of Stoney Mountain Baptist Church.
He is survived by his loving wife, Dorthula Bailey; two sons, Joey C. Bailey & Jimmy R. Bailey of Weaverville; two stepsons, James ìBoî Mills & Michael Ray Mills of Hendersonville; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
No services are planned at this time.

I worked with Bud 23 years at Cranston Print Works. We worked on the “Jacks” mostly. We had a lot of great times together and laughed a lot with each other. He was like a Big Brother to me. I’ll miss him greatly. Just to let Dot and the family know, my wife Marion and I will be praying that the Lord will comfort you and give you peace in this time. . . .
