Willie B. Johnson, 84, died Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at the home of her daughter in Seneca, SC.
A lifelong resident of Polk County, she was the daughter of the late Clarence & Sarah Bradley. Willie is also preceded in death by her husband, C. D. Johnson; a grandson, Jeff Singleton; a son-in-law, Doug Singleton; five brothers, Arthur, Preston, Archie, Walter, and Austin Bradley; and a sister, Margie Morgan.
She retired from General Electric and was a member of Zirconia Missionary Baptist. Willie was a Godly devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother; who loved her Lord and church.
Willie is survived by five children, Linda Dukes and her husband Michael of Saluda, Peggy Landers and her husband Frank of Hendersonville, Robin Singleton and her fiancÈ Duane Wilson of Seneca, SC, Evona Kilpatrick and her husband Van of Hendersonville, and Jonathan Johnson and his wife Becky of Zirconia; twelve grandchildren, Joshua & Jeremy Dukes, Kimberly, Kelly, Kyle, & Kristen Landers, Nicole Singleton, Seth & Keith Kilpatrick, and Austin, Olivia, and Caroline Johnson; nine great-grandchildren, Ariel, Pyper, Jayce, Briar, Colten, Logan, Lucus, Aisley, & Everly; a sister, Faye Mullinax of Saluda; three brothers, Robert Bradley of TX, Wayne Bradley of Saluda, and Harold Bradley of Zirconia; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, May 10, 2015 at Zirconia Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Travis Parker officiating. Interment will follow at Saluda City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM prior to the service at the church.

Our thoughts and prayers are with each of you. While we lost such a sweet soul, Heaven gained an Angel.

Aunt Willie was a kind and gentle woman, the example of a good daughter, sister, wife and mother. Praying for you all in the days ahead.
Your parents were true friends to our family, and I know they rejoice in Heaven. We will pray for Willie’s family. Where there is deep grief, there is deep love.
